I'll be at work tomorrow afternoon so I'll try to remember to say a prayer for you then, Kathy. And is this something different from an ingrown toe nail? I've heard those can be painful too. I'm glad I've never had one but one time on a lesser scale my right big toe nail split while I was at a friend's house and it really hurt. I had to take my shoe and sock off and drive home with a bare foot (the sock and shoe touching it was too painful). I then cut the rest of the broken nail (that was painful too!) with toe clippers and in a couple days the pain kept subsiding till it was fine again.

Thanks,Ziff.
I've had an ingrown toenail, and I agree it's painful. The doctor cut it a bit but it started growing again. So he gave me the option to having to getting it clipped down or get the whole nail removed. I chose to get the whole nail removed. The podiatrist called me earlier advising me to wear open toed sandals to the office. Makes sense to me.

I know I've already replied in the sequel thread,
but I can never let you know I'm thinking of you and praying for you enough Kath.

Have a great big hug and don't worry. I'll be very careful while I'm hugging you not to bump your toe
