Last night my family & I were leaving a friend's house.It was dark out & I stepped on something metal that was in the ground (sprinkler perhaps?).Then I fell,twisted my ankle and hit my head on my mother's car. My head feels OK. But my ankle? An entirely different story! Oooohhhh... am I in pain! I put ice on my ankle last night,but it didn't help much.It'll take time to heal;I know that much. *sigh*

Ouch! Wow, Kathy, you're really having a time in the aches and pains department these days. First your toenail, then your tooth, now your ankle - I hope that it isn't your hamstring next; I've pulled mine a few times and it hurts like crazy.

If your ankle's still hurting, you might want to have it x-rayed. But it sounds like you were able to move it, so it's probably not broken. Prop it up with more ice, take a few painkillers and take it easy, okay?

Thanks (((Marty))))) I've been in bed most of the day staying off it.I've been putting ice on it every so often (my sister's advice) I'm just glad I don't have stairs in my house.

I'm able to move it (although it's painful) Did the ice thing (on the ankle 15 mins...off the ankle 15 min.) & took painkillers.Hopefully I'll be better by Saturday since my family & I are going out for my sister's birthday.
