I am SHOCK-ED!

How... how could you!?

I can't believe no one mentioned the Red Hot Chili Peppers! One of the best bands in rock history!

I mean, Anthony's lyrics, John on guitar, Flea on bass... how can you not take notice to these guys!? (Oh yeah! And Chad on drums... he's the backbone, man)

Has anyone ever heard "Sir Psycho Sexy"? Ohhhhhhhh wait... this is a family forum... forget I mentioned it!

Anyway, yeah, GREAT band. My ABSOLUTE fave. And they're AMAZING in concert!

Other music I like:

Matthew Good Band
Goldfinger
Gob
Jimmy Eat World
Sublime
Millencolin
The Clash
Gorrilaz
Garbage
The Bloodhound Gang

... and that's aboot it!

Just to comment, please don't be offended, but I think that Red Hot Chili Peppers is one of my least favorite bands of all. But, I don't mean to critisize you because some of the other ones you listed are great. Ok, I only wrote that because I was bored and wanted to get another post in.

Love the Chili peppers here! Saw the second best concert of my life with them on a New Years concert back in '92 w/ Nirvana and Pearl Jam.

I can't even describe exactly why but they are completely up my alley and make total sense to me and rock like I would (or do in my head)!!

By the way, their concert is second only to Jane's Addiction whom I saw last year! Awesome show. Talent for both up the wazooo!

OK, we're talking about concerts, CONCERTS!!! Believe it or not (Chris, don't say not:smile: ) but Jane's Addiction went all out, performed their heads and other parts off and went crazy.

I thought that the Chili Peppers could never be topped but Jane's did it. I'm not basing it on one concert by the Peppers either but many. I do love their performances as they doth rock! But that New Years concert by them (all bands that night combined) is maybe 1/4 of an inch behind the Jane's Concert last year.

They had a crazy Freaks Circus Parade while in song going through the crowd with the performers hidden, then they show up out of nowhere, in the middle of the theater to perform Jane Says. The entire time they had acts going on all over the sides of the Amphitheater.
They win my contest, hands down.

Overall, band wise (albums), Jane's & RHCP are on equal level for me. Then Nirvana, then Pearl Jam (and this is just rating these four bands, not all the bands in the world, sheesh we'd be here for a very, very long time!).
