Flower-eating Monster first appeared in a sketch in a Julie Andrews variety special, where he ate a flower, or something like that. That's why he is called Flower-eating Monster. He is dark purple, and I think he has eyebrows.

He made a very small number of appearances on The Muppet Show. In the first episode, with Juliet Prowse, he appeared in At The Dance, where he asks his dancing partner if he could smoke. He also appeared in the closing number from the Vincent Price episode (which was cut from the first season DVD), he was part of Alice Cooper's band in the Alice Cooper episode, and I've heard that he appeared in the song Green Door in the Andy Williams episode.

He also could've been seen as a patient in "Veterinarian's Hospital".
