Gee Bee,

(1)What year was that Ernie and Bert Skit Where Ernie just tried to bring Big Bird in the house for a joke or for a game?

(2)How good is it?

That skit goes back to the early 70's. I remember getting a big kick out of it as a child, but then again, I haven't seen in about 30 years. LOL

I didn't remember a lot of details about it, but someone else refreshed my memory a bit when they said it was about "tall, taller, and tallest." I think Ernie demonstrated that he was "tall", but Bert was "taller" and Big Bird was the "tallest".

In the Jim Henson/The Works book, there is a behind the scenes picture of the actual set interior of Ernie and Bert's livingroom, which shows you how those episodes are made.According to this picture, the set interior itself is situated high above the heads of the puppeteers. So I wonder how Mr.Hooper was able to enter that same room on"Christmas Eve On Sesame Street"the way he did.Was he on a seperate platform?Or maybe they lowered the set interior down.
