Right now, I'm focusing on the moon. Now I know that the "Man in the Moon" face is an optical illusion, but here's another optical illusion I've noticed. Now I'm the only one I know who sees this, so here's what I'm asking: whenever you look directly at the moon (particularly a full moon) on a clear night...does it seem like there's another faint moon right beside it, almost like double-vision? That's what happens when I look at the moon.

You know, something about that rings a bell... It's either an optical ilusion, or a reflection of some kind. I couldn't say for sure though, not being able to see it, so someone else will have to be of greater help. Interesting though.

I don't know, but It's wired to see the sun and the moon at the same time.

I don't know about the double moon thing, but I have seen a blue shadow of the entire mone when only a quarter of it is visible. I remeber seeing this a lot as a kid it would be darker blue inside outlined with a slightly lighter blue rim. Sometimes I can see a ring that goes completly around it but it has to be a really clear day to see this no fog or cloudes.

I cant say. I cant see more than 3 feet away clearly. And I hate wearing my glasses when I dont need to XD But before my eyes failed me, one time, I was looking at the moon and I swear it looked exactly like the jurassic park logo.
