Several years ago, there was a list thread about the Muppeteers playing to their strengths as performers(most versatile, most funny, etc.) Well, one of the categories was best singer. IIRC, the ratings were a tie between Jerry and Richard, then Jim, then Frank, and Dave Goelz didn't even place. So I thought I would start a thread praising Dave's singing abilities.

He's an okay singer - obviously not on Nelson or Hunt's level. Jim Henson was not a great singer in the technical sense, but there was a certain spirit he gave each of his songs that made up for his faults.

It should also be mentioned that Steve Whitmire has an excellent rock voice.
