ONE YEAR AGO today... Look!! Disney & Sesame

hey gangs,

for thos of us who care today marks the 1 Year ann. of the Muppet Auditions that Disney & Sesame Workshop held in NYC. i went to try... boy, time sure does fly, seam just like they where a few days ago!

oh and i KNOW most MCer's "bark" about this alot so PLEASE, and i'm askin nice... PLEASE, please DON'T post anything nasty or "-" about it. post happy things!

maybe this can be a "Sticky" and us who tryed out can remember and share our storys of what happend to you (our selfs) and how fun it was?!

Wow that year flew by fast!

It was an honor I'm sure for all to go to the audition.

Disney/MHC invited only eight to go to Disneyworld and
receive advance training.

But it seems that after everything was said and done
only ONE person from the auditions was hired.

Only one.

He will work with some of the established Muppeteers on the Disney cruise.

Get what puppetry work you possibly can, working to the best of your ability and constantly striving to improve. Work for others or create your own shows. Then you will be a working, professional puppeteer, which is a lot more than some people ever achieve. If an opportunity to work for Hensons or whoever is in charge comes up, then grasp it. If not be grateful that you are working in a profession that you are passionate about and not stuck behind a desk day dreaming.
