Well, I was never exactly a fan of his anyway, simply because, but NOW I have a legit reason for that,

Well, Yahoo! had an interesting article on the Bates family (the friends of the Duggar family from 19 Kids and Counting)

The article says they're bible-thumping hypocrites for refusing to believe in birth control or contraceptives, yet they believe in added hormones to increase fertility; andeven though their own 19th child is on the way, the parents are already abusive the the 18 kids they already have by depriving them of privacy by exploiting them on a reality show.

Somehow when I hear religion and 19 kids, I can't get my mind to NOT focus on the word "cult" or "indoctrinate." I know that sounds wrong... but that's where most huge mutant families come from. No one needs that many kids. I mean, you hear the stories about how certain kinds of people only have a bunch of kids to cheat welfare or something... but the only reason I'm seeing is so TLC can sign them onto their ever expanding line of circus freak shows, and they want in on that sweet, sweet cash and fame. That's the ONLY reason that huge lipped freak Octopus mom abused fertility drugs.

There has to be someone held accountable for this. Drug abuse IS drug abuse no matter what the result. Why aren't the feds swooping down on these quacks with rubber stamped pharmaceutical pads?

Still, I remember someone making me watch something on Funny or Die that made fun of these "We're religious and got a big family and we're not cultist freaks at all" shows. I wish I had the link, but it really spoke out against this child/fertility abuse stuff. I wish more people were listening.

Naw... it was clever and not an idea obviously stolen from a Simpsons one off gag. It caricatured the parents as cultist nuts, it had a scene of them having to schedule minutes in the day for each child, it had their creepy uncle coming over. it was just a brilliant parody of these horrible shows. Sometimes you wonder... is Child Protective Services watching any of these shows?
