That is the one real complaint i've seen with MCC is that Michael Cain was THE star. Nothing against Michael Cain, but it is afterall a muppet movie.

Personally i kinda miss the old muppet style. The story movies were exactly that, stories and MFS while enjoyable just never seemed to go anywhere. I didnt feel a lot of progression from point A to B, just a bunch of happenings that filled up time.

I think they need to get back to the core a little bit, Kermit, Miss Piggy, etc. They need to find that element that made those muppet movies seem like musicals from another era. Go back and watch TMM,TGMC and MTM and tell me they dont take you back to another era, when movies were more than explosions and guns and sex.

That would be *sooo* cool!!! Harry Potter would be awesome (I could see Sweetums making a groovy Hagrid, whaddya think?), and Lord of the Rings would be even better! I wonder who would be good for that... I can see Miss Piggy as Eowyn delivering the fatal blow to the Witch-King with much enthusiasm. But it might be tough for her to mask her femininity that long... :stick_out_tongue:

My mates and I came up with a Muppet LOTR idea during a particularly boring Maths lesson some time ago - which is why my Maths book is now covered in some really odd pictures of Bunsen and Beaker as Merry and Pippin!
