For those in or near Toronto, One Night Slam is a new, ongoing series of puppet slams hosted by Unraku that wil be held in different, unusual locations around Toronto during 2011. Some will take place in prominent public locations around the city, while others will be more intimate and unfold in the studios of artists around the city.

Each slam is a "mystery slam" meaning that it's never held in the same place or with the same line-up of artists twice. Here's the way it works, sign up to attend on this Facebook Event Page. About 48 hours before the first slam you'll receive a message revealing the mystery location.

The first slam is being held this Saturday. Admission is pay-what-you-can ($10 suggested) and includes free (non-alcoholic) drinks and snacks during the show.

More info is available on the Facebook Event Page.
