Chapter 10: Up, Down, and All Around

Scene 1
Elmo and Zoe play on a teeter totter. Each take turns saying which one is up and which one is down. Big Bird shows up and walks around the teeter totter.

Oh, crap. Volume 11 of the book series was Morning to Night, and I mistakingly had the sneak peek at the end advertise Let's Pretend, and it's too late for me to edit that. :eek: Oh, well. I guess I'll have these two "video volumes" not match the book volumes.

Here is volume 11: Let's Pretend.

Scene 1
Grover sees Elmo making train noises, and mistakenly assuems that Mumford used a magic trick to make Elmo make train noises. When Mumford tells Grover that he didn't, Grover thinks that Mumford turned a choo-choo train into Elmo, but Elmo tells Grover that he was just pretending.

Big Bird: Hi, welcome to the show. Well, it is now morning, so I am going to have some breakfast. I think I'll go to Hooper's Store, and have some scrambled birdseed, and a birdseed milkshake on the side. What do you like to have for breakfast?

Now, who would you rather eat like, me or Big Bird? What's that? You need to get dressed? And you can do it by yourself?

Elmo and Miles go exploring in the woods. Miles explains that he promised Elmo that they would go exploring after they had lunch. They find an elephant, some monkeys (Davey and Joey), and also find some penguins. The penguins say that at this timke of day, they like to watch people pretend to be angry.

It's the time of the day for people to dance, and Zoe and Gabbi dance. ventually, Elmo, Miles, Abby Cadabby, Rosita, Telly, and Herry join them as well. Theye ventually get tired, and Herry says that it's time for him to watch some of his favorite TV shows.

Herry Monster says that it's the time of the day when he does his excersizes. He stretches, lifts the mailbox, and does some push-ups. He then runs, and runs into the Sesame Street siign (causing it to fall over, as a crashing sound is heard).

Big Bird tries to take a nap, saying that it is his naptime.

Scene 7
The cast gathers at the arbor area for some dinner. The Count just counts the food and people, while Alan and Grover serve the food. Snuffy and Alice have cabbage, Susan and Gordon have steaks, Maria and Luis have mexican food, Baby Bear and his family have porridge, and Big Bird has birdseed. After they all eat, everybody leaves to watch their favorite prime time shows.

Telly: I don't know. I'm kind of scared...
Big Bird: What's so scary about the city?
Telly: There are loud noises... big traffic... long lines... crowded areas!
Elmo: But you know, we already live in the city.
Telly: Yes, but... We're going to a bigger part of the city!
Big Bird: But... But we'll have lots of fun! We can look for each letter of the alphabet in the city.

Telly, as a "Monster on the Spot" reporter, asks everybody what seasons they like best. Big Bird likes spring, Elmo likes summer, Oscar likes winter ("because everybody gets cold and complains a lot then"), and Maria likes fall. Maria then falls.

Elmo and Zoe dress up in winter clothes, to pretend that it's winter.

That was totally awesome! I really loved it. I read those On My Way with Sesame Street books when I was a kid!
