For the most part, where I have copyright notices on KGZ, that all start with the copyright symbol which is achieved by typing ©.

However, for some reason lately, whenever I edit something on any page, the copyright symbol is converted to a question mark... why is that happening?

I've noticed sometimes that when I import text from one program into another, some of the text will change into question marks. That's basically because the program doesn't know what the text character is. It inserts a question mark to indicate that it was unable to duplicate the character.

It could be that for some reason, the editing program is not recognizing the copyright symbol any more, and replacing it with a question mark. That would be my guess.

That's so odd though, because KGZ's been up for almost three years now, that it's just now been converting the copyright symbols to question marks.
