I think in the case of Cookie Monster, it's a combination of the angle the picture was taken from, and perhaps whatever lense they may have used.

I wonder if more pictures or footage of the show will be released by HBO during whats going on. Maybe HBO Max could be released earlier? I'm just spit balling here tbh.
