$700? I love them! But not for that! Maybe like $40. Or even 100. But not 700 :busy:

I like the look of these. I really do, but it seems the people with money to buy them would be general collectors rather than Fraggle fans.

It's either the unattractive cheaper plushes or the highpriced nice-looking Doozer posers? One would think they'd look to design something in the middle that didn't alienate the preexisting fanbase.

I'd hate to complain about something so cool, but does this upset any other fans? We've been dedicated to the brand durning this dry spell and it looks like they came up with a dream product that few of us can afford. :frown:

They are made by Dr Romanelli, who also has Fraggle Rock Clothing and music. You can hear the music at http://drdoozer.com
They had a launch at Kitson in LA.It was High society, so of course Paris Hilton was there. They also had a Fraggle Rock window display and a Van out the front with Fraggle Rock designs on it.I had a look at Kitson's website and the Doozers arent on it.Anybody from LA know if the shop was selling them and if so, how much? Or can you only get them from Colette in Paris?

Well, now we know why he's called "Dr. Doozer" - what with $45 t-shirts and $700 Doozers, one needs some kind of coverage to be able to pay for this stuff.

Honestly, even if i had it, the only way i would shell out $700 for a Doozer would be if it came with its own Waldo to manipulate it with and even then i still probably wouldn't bite unless the seller also threw in a Karen or Stevie Wonder to go along with it.

Its 25 euros for the little plushies tho ... not cheap but still. Disregarding the Doozer, over 300 euros for a sweater and 155 for a poster is a little steap haha.

Its a shame there aren't a few bigger licensees looking to do more mainstream Muppet and Fraggle stuff. All we seem to get lately is specialist dolls, replicas or designer stuff - i guess because in Fraggle's case a Henson license is probably cheaper than a Ghostbusters one or something and they buy into the license knowing its a niche thing and actually go into it expecting to only sell a small amount but at a premium price. Hurts the REAL fans though!

I wish Sababa had produced each Fraggle plush with two of the plastic Doozers they made, with articulation at arms and neck, and not the Doozer plush but Mokey, Matt, and Sprocket. That would have sold the line better, but toy companies never listen to me.

On replicas, the should do the most popular, not easiest, characters first to sell the line. I don't see Doozers going that well in my opinion. Not like this.

I think I've figured out the pricing for Fraggle merchandise. I think it's actually Mervin Merggle in charge of selling these things. I guess they figure if they can't get a Hollywood type to finance the movie, they'll hawk stuff that the rest of the planet have to buy.

I still don't see why they haven't tried urban vinyl doozers. :busy: They could make those affordable and still have some high-end excluslusive paint schemes. The Henson licenses are always handled the worst. From Mindsyle to this. I just don't get it. I hope when the film comes out we'll have some real fraggle stuff for fraggle fans who haven't hit the lottery. :smirk:

This business plan is very unfragglish. However, I do have high hopes for the comic. ::excited::
