Official: “Muppets Now”, an unscripted series coming to Disney+ on July 31, 2020

I 100% do not think it's going to be anywhere as big as the Mandelorian, hate to say it because I loves Muppets, but it's the cold hard truth.

This was supposed to be a series of shorts, and from what I've been seeing, it looks like they're taking all the shorts, whittling them down and smooshing them together to pass it off as a series instead. That might garner a smidge more attention (like, nobody's talking about those Forky shorts on there), but it's not going to be the new tentpole project.

But who knows, I could be wrong. Maybe if it gets enough attention, Disney will order some more and they'll actually do it within an actual format instead of retrofitting shorts together.
