I'm a newcomer (probably obvious). I would LOVE to obtain past episodes of Sesame street - especially pre-1983 - for me and for my kids.

I really don't have anything worth trading :frown:
(unless you want to trade for recent Bob the Builder episodes and shows like that...).

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Can early episodes be purchased? How did you get so many episodes to trade? Etc...

Well, at one time, Noggin, the digital cable channel, aired something called "Sesame Street Unpaved", a "best-of" series which consisted of 67 episodes of Sesame Street from 1969-1989 (the first 20 seasons). And a good portion of them were pre-1983. That's how we got them.

How do those of us who are new since Noggin dropped "Unpaved" get started?
Jupstart, anyone?

Es muy simple: get some episodes that were recorded from PBS, 1969-1992. Those are in HIGH demand.
