Okay...I have not visited here in a long long time. All the figures look great. I have them all so far.

So I understand the reason we are seeing daredevil Gonzo, Tux Rowlf and Sam "Arrow" Eagle. I sorta understand the repaints.

I just have one question...

1) Will we be seeing some more obscure characters now that there are other characters strewn about the lines to strengthen them in selling power?

I mean surely if a line consisted of Nekkid Rowlf, Sal Manilla, X-mas Carol Kermit and Randy Pig...we few should get a Mildred figure?

IF SO...here are the names that would make fantastic figures...completing the collection.

1) Lips 2) Nigel 3) Annie Sue Pig
4) Hilda 5) Mildred 6) Gladys (cafeteria)
7) Pops 8) Boppity & Gloat 9) JP Grosse
10) George the Janitor 11) Wayne & Wanda
12) Uncle Deadly

So I hope these names may perk SOMEBODY'S interest. They would make terrific additions.

If the series gets REALLY obscure (ala the Simpsons line), I'd have to go ahead & throw Mickey Moose & Ronald Duck in there as well. But I doubt Palisades' lawyers are ready for that kind of fall out.

True, but i never bought into the holding off purple Tux gonzo with Camilla, like the Rowlf and Sam figures are. when the line was first starting was when it was compleatly Muppet show Muppets and reg Rowlf was going to be in set 3 and reg Sam was going to be in set 4, but there was no talk of a purple tux gonzo in set 2, remember that Ken & Palisades didn't have all the knowlage they have today on the Muppets when they first started. To them a DareDevil Gonzo was a reg Gonzo, and it is, it really is too because Gonzo is known for all his crazy stunts, but what's so Reg about Gonzo anyways? not saying they Palisades didn't think what they were doing was wrong, becaue it's not, but a daredevil gonzo is a very Fun idea, and gonzo needs a cannon anways;-)

I say Digit...I mean sculpt wise, could Palisades ever do a cooler sculpt? I mean Digit is about as modern or futuristic as it gets.

Digit would be very cool...although we haven't seen him in the last decade or so, he'd be a distinctive sculpt and look really different in the line.

And he would definitely be obscure, if that's what we're going for.

I think an "Astoria" action figure would be pretty funny, but then some Christian League would probably attack for having a cross dressing action figure. Come to think of it, they'll probably attack for Crazy Harry anyway.
