Gosh, apparently YouTube's downtime the other night was earth-shattering news: it's still trending news even today, not to mention I think I saw some kind of conspiracy theory vlog just like night about what the sudden downtime was really all about (censoring videos).

And even more conspiracy theories, but they're mostly the same: censoring videos, deleting videos, policing videos, blah-blah-blah, YouTube doing away with free speech, blah-blah-blah, they don't want us to see stuff, blah-blah-blah.

I mean, did it not occur to anyone that YouTube could have been just doing some routine maintenence? They don't always inform us of that, and they do it from time to time anyway, it's not like it's not an unusual occurence.

Yeah, the whole thing is really weird. I don't know what happened either, but can't some people just brush it off as a technical mishap instead of going bat crazy? It happened for like one hour out of a whole day...just move on, for pete's sake.
