This is from the WDW Cast Portal:

The Character Casting Department is looking for Cast Members who are at least five feet tall to audition for roles at a Puppeteer Workshop on March 31 at 7 p.m.
The workshop, which is designed for beginners, will take place at the Disney's Animal Kingdom Rehearsal Rooms, located on Sherberth Road.

For more information, call (407) 397-3886. This line is available on weekdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

They want you to be a cast member already for this, but it's not necessary. They won't turn you away. Apparently we're very desperate for puppeteers right now.

I just passed their last set of auditions, if you have any questions about how they work, feel free to email me at jeremyactor@yahoo.com.
