Well, I just called a whole bunch of people at Nickelodeon and MTV. But they kept transferring me to the wrong people, so I would end up back at the receptionist. He hadn't heard anything about this new network, so eventually, he asked someone there. And this person did hear something about it, but unfortunately, she thinks it's actually going to be Nickelodeon Classic. Meaning it would have shows like Degrassi, Clarissa Explains it All, etc. Does anyone remember those shows? I think it's basically going to be a channel of IN-HOUSE material, unlike Nick at Nite or TV Land. I mean, they might have to put some filler stuff on there because it's a whole channel, but the problem is, shows like 3-2-1 Contact, The Electric Company, and SESAME STREET UNPAVED, those REALLY weren't Nickelodeon shows. I know it's a bit upsetting, but I think it WOULD make more sense for a Nickelodeon Classic channel, because, put it this way, none of those old shows were doing well on Noggin in the first place, which is why they took them off. So, it seems that there's a higher demand for old Nickelodeon shows than there is for old PBS and CTW shows.
