You know, I did have trouble thinking of the exact wording of that sentence. I meant to say, "We could never take that song and listen to it like we listen to it now."

oh yeah, apparently this fungus has been around for a long time, it just has gotten worse recently. One kind of banana has already been wiped out because of it, but this was back in the 20s I think (I dont feel like looking at the article if thats the right decade...)

Man! It's hard to think about their already being a kind of banana that I never knew about because it is no longer around.:stick_out_tongue:

They'll invent artificial bananas!
Or, more precisely, a way to grow the plants artificially. if they can just find some agricultural scientists to work on someway to get them to grow in a different climate, then we can still preserve them.

They aren't going to let something like Bananas slip by. It's a very big fruit. Too big to let the profits die out by this fungus.
