I know everyone wants to make the best looking puppets possible and everyone certainly wants to do it the "Henson Way", using the highest quality materials available.

But the best puppets poorly performed or performing a weak, unoriginal script are just wasted effort. Meanwhile, an audience won't even notice the construction of the puppet if it is original and well performed.

Focus on developing your own, original style and becoming a highly skilled puppeteer or puppet builder, using what you have. Don't fret over what you don't have.
