I am an aspiring puppeteer based in New Jersey interested in performance opportunities and networking in New Jersey and New York. Any advice or ideas?

from NJ, huh? where in Jersey, if you don't mind me asking. I was born and raised there for 14 years, I lived in Bayonne, ever been there?

I know Bayonne, but I've never been there. I live in Red Bank, close to the shore.

I know Red Bank, but I've never been there either, but I've been down the shore. My uncle has a house down there in Toms River.

Red Bank is my playground. Best town in Jersey. I used to live in Eatontown but moved up north. Trying desperately to move back down the shore.
