Great banner Phil keep up the good work.

BTW: Thanks for taking off that comment about Gabi's posterior. I'll admit I've made some doozies of my own during my time on this board, but even I wouldn't go that far.

I agree, the banner is fabulous! The characters are great, and the picture of Steve is very nice. Wonderful!

So uh... Who's featured in this banner? And only Steve? Hmmm, wondere if Jim has a banner of his own also airing today as well.

Let's see... on the left (from left to right), it's Kermit, Bean, Sprocket and Wembley. And on the right (from left to right), it's Steve, Rizzo, Lips (I believe that's Lips...), and then some funky-looking blue guy who I don't know... someone else will be much better at identifying him than I am, I'm sure. And yeah, it's only Steve because I hear that when someone passes away, a banner to remember them is done on their death date as opposed to their birth date. But we could say that Kermit's there to remember both of them, maybe?

That someone is me!

The little blue guy is Waldo from the Muppet*Vision 3-D show in Walt Disney World and Disneyland's California Adventure theme parks. He also appeared in an episode of The Jim Henson Hour.

Beyond that, maybe there's another somebody who's seen him in other shows or specials?

He was a regular character on The Jim Henson Hour.

Yep... Thanks guys. At first I thought the confusion was due to it being an obscure character, maybe the blueish Extreme from JHH.
But Waldo C. Graphic is his full name, a regular CGI character from the Jim Henson Hour. And if we take it that Kermit's there for both Jim and Steve, then so's Waldo.
Even though Waldo was mainly performed by Steve, the episode titled The Secrets of the Muppets illustrates/explains how Waldo works and is puppeteered. At one moment in the process, Jim picks up a form mitten and then a sandwich, talking in his older explanative voice as if he was Waldo to the audience at the workshop.
Hope this helps... Good night and happy birthday to Steve and Jim wherever they may be.

Thanks somebody! Er, I mean, minor muppetz!!!

I thought he was a regular, but I wasn't quite sure. Thanks for clearing that up.

Was he always flying around the monitors up on the wall or something, around that android-type fella (can't remember his name)? I have an extremely vague recollection.
