I give it up to the coach too. They could have gone for the touchdown to make it 49-17, but he was the better man and sat on the ball for the rest of the game. That's a class act, don't show up the other team. You proved that you won. Just run out the clock and get off the field.

Twas the night before Christmas.
And on this holiday eve.
Presents for the playoffs.
Did I receive.

My Ravens from Baltimore.
Settled the score.
Burying the defending champs.
For another year more.

The Texans came through.
To delight and amaze.
Stunningly upseting the Colts.
With a winning field goal and no seconds left to play.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter.
I changed the channel to see what was the matter.
Out in the mountains, the chill wind did blow.
Plunging rocky Denver beneath the flurry white snow.

And what then, should I happen to see?
The Bengals muffing an extra point to my giddy and glee.
For that For that sinks Cincinnatti's hopes, growing quite dim.
Lumped with three other teams at 8-7, on the outside looking in.

But at the end of the night.
Almost made it perfect.
If Seattle could get a field goal.
Then I'd have a trifecta.

Though we rose up from #3 seed.
To a #2 birth.
Tieing with San Diego at #1.
Would've brought joy to this earth.

So with a smile on my face and a song in my heart.
Say I unto you, as now we surely must part.
Remember these words as you drive out of sight...

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Well, Ziffel my Packers are still alive for a playoff spot but it is very slim chances. I need your Redskins to help us out and beat the Giants. Then a few other things still need to happen but I would never have guessed at the beginning of the season the Pack had any chance for a playoff spot.

Uh... Forgive me for asking, but isn't the primary thing needed for a Green Bay playoff birth a win by the Packers over the Bears?

The Pack could very well beat the Bears, cause Da Bears really have nothing to play for. They have everything locked up for the playoffs, they could just put their 2nd string in and then the Pack'll probably whoop em. As for my Bengals, they say that they probably have the easiest road to the playoffs, all they have to do is win, and hope that the Jets lose. But they won't lose against Oakland, I could put a pee-wee team together and beat Oakland. Though, if the Broncos lose, then all we have to do is hope that KC beats Jacksonville(Which could happen) That's the senerio that i hope happen. Dang center, we probably woulda won that game.

Oakland? Wasn't even aware they had a team... What league do they play in?
The NFL? Oh, the National Field-skaters Lodge?

Broncos will beat the 49'ers... That's the other game I'll be watching. And of course, though I hate the Steelers, I'll be rooting for them, should that game still be meaningful.

Oh, the Bengals will CRUSH the Steelers. They just don't know that they already lost yet.

Yeah, but look at what the Ravens did to em. They demolished Rothilesberger. They made him eat more turf than if he swallowed a Nerf Ball for cryin out loud. And we have a better defense than the Ravens do(look at what we did against them last time we played them, enough said)
