Well I got Monday night's game wrong so I end up at a dismal 7-7. With just 50% correct I might as well have just flipped a coin for the picks! I'm 42-32 overall now.

I'm a huge Bengals fan!!! I'm a little upset about the loss last night, but I'm still rootin' for 'em! Maybe this will be their comeback year!? WHO DEY!?
Yeah that was one game I predicted correctly. I figured it was going to be Cinci's first loss. But yes I think there is reason for optimism for Bengals fans. I think the Bengals should have a winning record and possibly a wild card spot. And 2 weeks from now Pittsburgh at Cincinatti should be an exciting game.

Here's something that shows the unpredictability of football sometimes:

The Chargers beat the Patriots at New England. The Patriots beat the Steelers at Pittsburgh. And now the Steelers beat the Chargers at San Diego!
As I've always said, the transitive property (if a > b, and b > c, then a must be > c ) does not work in football!

I don't think Jacksonville should come in that day. They should just forfit the game.

N.Y. Giants at Dallas, 1:00 p.m. X
I guess I'll be going for Dallas too. But Dallas is a funny football team. You don't know if they're goign to play like they did against the Eagles or show up as a so so team like how they were with the Raiders.

But if Big Ben doesn't play I think JV has a shot. But even so, I still pick the Steelers. I think they're one of the best teams. Solid all around.

And yes the Cowboys have been hard to predict like that for the past few seasons. But so have the Giants. Just when you think the Giants have a team they lose. And vice versa. But it looks like both are improved this year. And since Dallas is at home and since they demolished the Eagles SO MUCH, I gotta go with the Boys in this one. Parcells appears to have assembled the necessary ingredients in his team this year. We'll see.

I'm afraid my Skins are going to lose again this week. Arrowhead is a tough place to play, the Chiefs will be mad after blowing a big lead against the Eagles two weeks ago, the Chiefs are well rested after a bye week, and the Skins have only beaten the Chiefs one time (out of 7 or 8 games I think). But they nearly pulled it out at Denver so we'll see.

Well the Steelers lost by a touchdown to the Jacksonville. I didn't see the game but it looked good.

Dallas one but it was an ugly and sloppy game.

Washington lost but played hard.

The Bengals won........Not to bad boys.

And the Houston Texas are still the only winless team in football. Atleast the Houston Astros are one win away from going to the World Series for the first time.

And those poor Astros were just one OUT away of going to their first WS. What a comeback by those mighty Cards. I hope Houston can take em' tonite or tomorrow. I want to see a Sox-Stros series.

Yeah at least my Skins played two good games in their losses at Denver and Kansas City. Now we have a home game against the 49ers so should get another w.

Well, Kimp and I had a great week. We both went 11-3. I am now 53-35 overall and #18457 at Yahoo (but that's in the top 9% of all people. )

Here's my predictions for week 7:

SUNDAY, OCT. 23rd
Detroit at Cleveland, 1:00 p.m. X
X Green Bay at Minnesota, 1:00 p.m.
X Indianapolis at Houston, 1:00 p.m.
Kansas City at Miami, 1:00 p.m. X
New Orleans at St. Louis, 1:00 p.m. X
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati, 1:00 p.m. X
X San Diego at Philadelphia, 1:00 p.m.
San Francisco at Washington, 1:00 p.m. X
Dallas at Seattle, 4:05 p.m. X
Baltimore at Chicago, 4:15 p.m. X
Buffalo at Oakland, 4:15 p.m. X
Denver at N.Y. Giants, 4:15 p.m. X
Tennessee at Arizona, 4:15 p.m. X

MONDAY, OCT. 24th
N.Y. Jets at Atlanta, 9:00 p.m. X 41 pts.

Boy some tough ones here. Had a hard time choosing San Diego-Philly, K.C- Miami, Detroit-Cleveland, Green Bay-Minne, Baltimore-Chicago, Buffalo-Oakland, and Tenn-Arizona. I doubt I'll do any better than 8-6 this week! And I hope they air Pittsburgh at Cincinatti here. The crowd will really be rockin' there in Cincy!

Well the crowd didn't end up having much to cheer about in Cincinatti after all. Pittsburgh really pounded them into submission. The Eagles got so lucky at the end against the Chargers (a blocked fg and a fumble that was reviewed and could have been overturned), Dallas blew it at the end against Seattle, and the Colts (my pick at the start of the season to win the Super Bowl) are now 7-0. And my Skins score over 52 points! (granted, it was against the awful Niners).

I started out a weak 3-5 for the 1pm games but then got the rest right to finish a respectable 9-5. I'm now 62-40 overall.

So here's for week 8:

SUNDAY, OCT. 30th
Arizona at Dallas, 1:00 p.m. X
Chicago at Detroit, 1:00 p.m. X
Cleveland at Houston, 1:00 p.m. X
Green Bay at Cincinnati, 1:00 p.m. X
X Jacksonville at St. Louis, 1:00 p.m.
Miami at New Orleans, 1:00 p.m. X
Minnesota at Carolina, 1:00 p.m. X
Oakland at Tennessee, 1:00 p.m. X
Washington at N.Y. Giants, 1:00 p.m. X
Kansas City at San Diego, 4:05 p.m. X
Philadelphia at Denver, 4:15 p.m. X
X Tampa Bay at San Francisco, 4:15 p.m.
Buffalo at New England, 8:30 p.m. X

MONDAY, OCT. 31st
Baltimore at Pittsburgh, 9:00 p.m. X

Not really going out on a limb this week, picking only 2 road teams. I hope my Skins can take the Giants on the road, but I'm a little pessimistic. I think the Packers have a good chance of upsetting the Bengals but I'm not quite bold enough to pick them. And I look for a Bronco ROUT of the Eagles (48-17!)
