News on Fraggle Rock DVDs?

Hi everyone!

I know many of us have talked about the possibility of Fraggle Rock being released on DVD. I was just wandering if there was any news about this possibily happening? What ever happened with that great petition that was going?

Any news would be great to hear!

Hi Jon,

There is no definite news for those of us in the USA or UK yet. French DVD's were released last year.

I have heard rumors that there are discussions with getting the DVD rights to release Fraggle going on, but nothing is definite yet. Hopefully we will have some news later this year though. Obviously, the Henson sale takes precedence before deals like this can be made. Anything can and will likely change with Valentine. No telling what things will be like a year from now.

Hi Phil, thanks for the info. I assumed that was the case but hadn't heard anything so I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

Somewhat related, if we put in our email on Amazon.com for the Fraggles on DVD, does this really help at all?

Whether it really helps or not is up for debate, but it definitely does not hurt. It is worthwhile that everyone takes the time to request Fraggle on DVD, by entering your e-mail in the box that says "E-mail me when available from Amazon.com". It takes two seconds and it shows there is an interest in the release.
