I usually browse through newgrounds for the latest flash animations and up and coming animators - if the animation is great it usually gathers up a couple thousand views even a million views.

So I was thinking would it not be neat to have a site like newgrounds but for puppets? The listing could be the same - 50 most recent - weekly top 20 - past 20 daily features - Top 50 of all time

I think this way it would be alot easier to find out about new puppet shows or give people more of a chance to experiment and get feedback from reviews

what do you think?

oh by the way episode 5 of puppet television is done filming - we got all the animation footage complete - now all we have to do is edit/sound FX

I think it's a terrific idea... that's why I tried to do it with my website at www.puppetforge.com, but I found that puppeteers are horrible at filming their shows. The majority of footage I received was un-usable. Typically it was the sound. The sound is generally so poor that it was pointless to post. And I'm not going to provide ADR for everybody! LOL!!

But now there's YouTube and a couple other websites that let you post your video on your own. So I'm re-vamping my website to handle strictly my own vids.

I'm not poo=pooing the idea. I still think it's a good one. But it'll take some pretty savvy marketing to get it past the already established You Tube and others.

Yeah, I remember checking your website out before starting puppet television i watch your videos multiple times i really did enjoy your work. (geek Opera being one of my favorites)

I agree with you there is alot of elements in filming a good puppet show as i've learn from my first attempt with episode one and still learning with the on going episodes
