Wow... how did I know he was going to say that? HOW did I know? How did I KNOW?

I'm, like, the new Radar O'Reilly or somethin'...
Because I wrote it in a Myspace bulletin earlier in the day. You must've read that one.

The point of resolutions isn't whether you break them or not. The point is to try something new and hopefully you will get the satisfaction of coming through on your promise to yourself.
Very true, the point is that you tried. Things would be much worse if you didn't.

I try making resolutions about attitude changes, but I find if they are made too vague or broad, they are very difficult to carry out. So I try to say "I will take each situation as it comes, and try to deal with each one calmly and put it in perspective." Sort of the "one day at a time" approach.

Honestly I always seem to break my resolutions so I'm technically not making any. However, I do want to work on enjoying each day to the fullest a little more, appreciating the blessings I have and things like that. I tend to get overstressed about really stupid things and then the above things I mentioned don't happen as much. So, a new year is as good of an excuse as any to try and work on those things.

Yeah, one day at a time.

I don't know what my resolution should be... >< Any ideas? lol

Edit:

Yeah, exactly. That's the positive attitude that I was talking about. Good for you Beth!

Try to get yourself more free time?

Wait a minute... that wouldn't be too good, because come Spring, I won't have any free time anymore, so then you'll always be around, and I won't... so it would be like what it's like now, only in reverse, because I'm usually the one who's around all the time, while you're not.

Um... you could resolve to be less peppery and more salty? That's probably not good either.

I got it... I GOT IT... you can resolve to be... um... be... yourself?

I can't state my goals exactly--too long to do so as it involves 10 pages of it--with plans.

This will be a cold year for me.
Very, very cold one.

It holds many restrictions...
I look foward to facing them, though.

I will be very brutal with myself this year.
No more dilly-dally for me.

I'm kind of fearful, but I'll have to do it to achieve what I want.
._. *Sigh*

Squeegers! **big hugs**

I'm glad you have goals, but don't be too hard on yourself, because we all love you and don't want to lose the cheerful Claud!

I wouldn't mind having a cold year myself... it's always so goshdarn stinkin' hot like eight and a half months out of the entire year down here, and I'm sick of it!
