Toy Story 3 is the highest grossing animated movie of all time. It's popular so it gets tons of merchandise. Frankly there's not near as much Toy Story merchandise as there is Cars stuff. They're milking that cash cow with both fists.
I happen to like the Toy Story franchise, but this new short is not that good, it's okay, it's not torturous, but from Pixar's Toy Story you kinda expect more

I refuse to eat someone else's food... I'm kinda germaphobic like that.
You might have to table some of the germaphobe stuff when you get a girlfriend, or if you ever have to spend time in a Hospital waiting room:smile:

Yeah it's sad there's been such a big nanny agenda to stop kids meal toys. The 90's had some of the most amazing toy sets from non top 3 establishments, now they just have lame dvd-roms and education stuff.

MEANWHILE, portions/content/etc for "adults" at fast food is becoming more larger and disgusting

well, it's just that it's a lot of toy story around here
Yeah Im kind of tired of it. It's pathetic, there's no Muppet merch or toys in stores yet Toy Story takes up a whole row at all big box retailers. And thats fine...but while I was a HUGE Toy Story fan 95-2000, I started to grow a little weary of too much Pixar overload. I actually couldnt stand Toy Story 3, it just felt too dark and serious. The cgi was great, but I love Toy Story 2 the most..it had both heart and epic madcap adventure.

But a Toy Story show would be nice, just Pixar doesnt like to focus on anything other than their movies unlike Dreamworks. Id rather a Toy Story show than Cars...man I cannot get into that franchise at all. Id LOVE to see new Up shorts tho!

The 1986 McD happy meal! I still have some of the original ones I got...sadly only Canada got the fifth one, which was Baby Animal. A few years later they did a couple other Muppet Babies ones, but that 1986 one was cool. Sadly the days of 80's, 90's and early 2000's Muppet kids meal toys seems long gone
WOW! You have it too? I have the Gonzo, Kermit and Animal, but I think the Gonzo and Animal come with a bike or something, becuase they're in the sitting possition, if you do have pictures of it can you post them so I know what to look for

Toy Story will always have a place in my heart due to it being the first movie I saw in Theaters, and I actually remember going fairly well. Now, I thought TS2 was kinda meh, and I really disliked 3.

Seriously? I actually LOVED 2 and 3! Maybe a little more so than the first.

I do like the first and original, the second I loved and the third even though was made about ten years later it never lost it's greatness. I think it's probably the best Disney franchise out there

Also I always had these Baby Kermit and Baby Piggy plush dolls but I never knew where they were from, my mother didn't really remember where she got it from.
So after doing some research I found out that I had the original Holiday Huggable Muppet Babies from 1988. I am missing Kermit's hat and his jacket and his eye is a bit faded but other than that they're in good condition. I'm so excited to find out that these things are really collectibles.

Nice! Yeah I remember being blown away by it in 1995. I had been a fan of Pixar's work since the late 80's when I first saw some of their shorts on the big screen in 1989...guess it just took a long time to develop a feature length film(love the Pixar Story documentary)

I wish I could claim Muppets Take Manhattan was my first theatrical experience but sadly I think it was that lame movie On Golden Pond or some other adult snoozer. I think ET and Return of the Jedi are the first films I remember all the way through though.
