I've dodged the war discussions for various reasons, but I do think they should be allowed to continue. But people should try to keep a cool head about what's going down.
I remember a Muppet Civil War here a few years ago that drove me away from the site for several months...because it wasn't a place I WANTED to be anymore. And I haven't ever really come back. Not to the level of activity I was pre-Civil War.
There are probably five "people" I use the term loosely here that I absolutely LOVE. And about 10-20 more (depending on the day) that I really like a lot and consider friends. Or at least nice acquaintances.
And then there the rest of you.
Just kidding.
I do enjoy the quality of discussion that we see here at times, and I love the support I've gotten in the past from my friends here. I just which I could muster the...desire? to give that support back.
Maybe it's the lack of the chat room.
But it's probably just me.
