It will be released October 24. The World According to Sesame Street premiered at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival in the documentary competition. On October 24th, PBS will broadcast the film as the premiere of the Fall 2006 Independent Lens series, as a common carriage presentation. Also on October 24th, Sony BMG will release the DVD of the film, employing a day-and-date release strategy.

Broadcast Date: 10/24, 9:00pm (common carriage on PBS)

Yea this was in Sundance a long time ago. I for one allready know about, probablly many other people do also.

Kermie, people may know about it but I doubt many have seen it. You can't buy it until the day it is publicly aired anyways. I would suggest watching it on PBS then deciding whether or not to buy it.
