How the heck could they have a 50th anniversary??? Haven't the Muppets only been around for about 35 years or so??? ANd Kermit has only been around for Muppets and not for SS, RIGHT???

Maybe I'm crazy...
You're crazy. LOL!! (It's a comfortable feeling, too; isn't it? I love being crazy!)

Seriously, though: SS is 35 years old. Sam and Friends began May 5, 1955. So far, when there are anniversaries regarding The Muppets, they based it off that date.

May 5, 2005, is the 50th Muppets Anniversary, not necessarily just for Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, or even JHC (which has been through several name changes in and of itself).

I'm curious to see what Disney will do with The Muppets.
