just thought you might be interested, for the past three weeks i have been Puppet wrangling, Puppeteering, and building props and set pieces on the fly for a new show for Court TV called the "Smoking Gun"

been a interesting bit of work, lots of puppets,i sort of look at it as "ROBOT CHICKEN", with out the stop motion, its a reall mixed bag as far as puppetry goes, sock puppet, marionettes, found object, and toys, even a pretty funny bit using Tounge Depressor puppets, lol

here is the blurp on the main website
WWW.THESMOKINGGUN.COM

AUGUST 9--A retooled Smoking Gun TV returns to television sets nationwide on August 16, so clear those Tuesday evening calendars. Now!

And this time, the series is all about puppets, animation, and bobblehead dolls. That's right, we've replaced the people (like our nontelegenic staff) with even more wooden performers. Imagine your favorite TSG stories being brought to life by marauding marionettes and cartoon buffoons.

As you can see from the stills on this page, one of the opening vignettes focuses on the classic Phoenix airport showdown between tubby exercise guru Richard Simmons and a hulking Harley Davidson salesman. For our money, Simmons has never looked more lifelike than when reproduced in plastic (however, Rich, Barbie wants those striped shorts back).

Our half-hour blockbuster debuts August 16 at 11 PM (E/P) on Court TV. New episodes will air on successive Tuesdays, with encore presentations airing Fridays at 11:30 PM (E/P).

Unlike most grubby web sites, The Smoking Gun isn't all up in your grill peddling mouse pads and other branded crap. So do us a solid and tune in (remember, we're the ones delivering free gems like this daily).
