Anyway, it looks like the Taiwanese sweat shop that produced them had to do a rush job over the weekend.

That's about the nicest thing I CAN say about them....

I think you have to see them for real to really judge them. This is just the prototype version in which they're all ugly.

I think Fozzie's the ugliest, along with Piggy, followed by Gonzo who looks exactly like this one. Rizzo's too large and his ears are too big. The others are okay - it's a matter of finding the right ones that are not crosseyed or highly un-anatomic.

I just wanted to post that I just got an early birthday present from Germany! Inside were the Rizzo and Animal German McDonald Happy Meal toys!

Now, don't get me wrong, they are ugly, but they are pretty neat too. These are the best looking of the bunch. Very cheaply made though. Rizzo's neck isn't stiff (his head just flops around), and Animal only has one eyebrow, but all in all they are pretty cute. Once I get my mits on some of the English ones, I'll have to compare them.

Animal has always had a connected eyebrow, but probably much more curved than the Germany plush. From what I've seen there's a definite Bert factor.
