The 80's line up of those weird shows doesn't thrill me looking back on it. I never had cable as a kid, but my friend did. I really hated Noozles, and I'm not a fan of "David the Gnome." I did like how Heathcliff and Inspector Gadget were on there, but then again, I saw them on syndication for free all the time. I unfortunately never saw Danger Mouse or Count Duckula (I saw Count Quackula from the 1979 filmation Mighty Mouse, but that's not the same).
Personally, I think they really took off as a network when they introduced Nick Toons like Doug, Ren and Stimpy, and Rugrats. I really think they made the network really special.

I swear, the Dizzy channel has much worse programming. It's all Tweenybopper high school shows and crap like that. I like Emperor's New School and Replacements (seeing them as reruns on ABC), but that other stuff looks like crap. It's like Saved By the Bell and NBC in the mid 90's. They had such a hit with that one, they had to pollute their line up with nothing but clones of that show, and the cartoons got the boot.Along with the Disney Channel, I'm not a big fan of what Nickelodian has to offer these days.
