Saw this over the weekend and took a shot with my cell phone in hopes to post it here, but mm has a better shot. I spoke to the clerk (are they still called cast members if they only work at the store?) and he said that was all the Muppet stuff they had and they weren't aware of any upcoming merch.
Also saw a Muppet DVD three pack in the SONY store: MTM, KSY, and MFS. I thought it was an odd collection. Anyone else seen this?
It came out back on January 31, 2006. Check some stores around you if you want even just 2 of these films. A lot of places have the pack for less than $13
in the little 17 page Disney Store flyer i got in the mail tonight (with 15% off my next purchase hehe ), on page 14 theres the Disney Store Studio Collection Mugs (like the pillows almost) with Mickey and Minnie, Lady & Tramp, Pooh and Piglet, Dopy and Grumpy, Jack and Oogie (this is that one that i bought) and Kermit and Miss Piggy (its the same pic as the pillow) but i didnt see the Muppets mug with Kermit and Piggy in the Disney store tho...
i'll ask/check next time i go... in about 4 weeks or so
The reason its these three films is that they are the 3 Muppet movies that Columbia Tristar (owned by Sony) still have ownership or distribution rights to. They are not under Disney control. I'm not sure about the others, but Disney have nothing to do with MTM at all, it's now owned by Sony.
