I highly doubt Disney will release the new Muppet movie on December 20th 2013. They have another movie coming out that day, Saving Mr.Banks. I can't see them releasing two movies on the same day.
That relase date report is obviously just a crazy rumor.

Just so people know that date came from imdb so consider the source please. However I am highly sure a Nov-Dec release is eminent. Still haven't lost my optimisim on this!!!

Maybe November is possible again. (I love that time period for movies) and we know that Disney can put one movie out a month later than another as we just seen with Frankenweenie and Wreck-It Ralph.
