From the description, it sounds terrific and like it could well exceed the original, which I also thought was really good if a tad crude at times. It sounds like they kicked the imagination into high gear for this one and incorporated a lot more characters and locales. I'll be interested to see how it turns out. When is it coming out?

May 21st was the last date I heard.

Also just read that Larry King is playing the ugly step sister. And there will be a scene in a bar called the "poison apple" where all the villians hang out.

Words I never thought I'd say: "I might like this movie"

There was a poster for it in the theater last night as well.

I can't believe the cast of this thing, line up my favorite actors and then sign them on, why don't you.

Credited cast:
Mike Myers .... Shrek (voice)
Eddie Murphy .... Donkey (voice)
:flirt: Cameron Diaz .... Fiona (voice)
John Lithgow .... Farquaad (voice)
 John Cleese .... King Harold (voice)
:excited: Julie Andrews .... Queen Lillian (voice)
rest of cast listed alphabetically
:zany: Antonio Banderas .... Puss-in-Boots (voice)
:attitude: Rupert Everett .... Prince Charming (voice)
Larry King .... The Ugly Stepsister (voice)
Jennifer Saunders .... The Fairy Godmother (voice)
Conrad Vernon (I) .... The Gingerbread Man (voice

Wow, some great guys. And now that the Gingerbread man has a bigger part...What more could we ask? If only it still had the dragon and the donkey would go eat the blue flowers with red leaves...

I'm a bad Ab Fab fan. I never realized she was in MTI. I just never made the connection.

I'll take my spankings now. :embarrassed:
