I'll be seeing it opening weekend. It looks good, but I'm still bummed Micheal Keaton doesn't want to do any more Batman movies.

I'm really looking forward to Batman Begins. What a great cast they have!
I'm hoping it will be a true retelling, not like the stupid...very stupid...other ones.

I'm willing to give Charlie and the Chocolate Factory a chance for a fistfull of reasons: Tim Burton, my favorite director, is helming the film, so it's bound to be cool for that alone. They're basing the film on the original book, not the previous movie with Gene Wilder (which is whi it'll be called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, rather than Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory), so it will be an original film, plus it'll be closer to the original source material and not just another crappy remake of an older film. But the biggest reason is that they're really attempting to stay true to everything Roald Dahl created. When this project was first mentioed a few years back, the studios were actually planning to remake the previous film, but as a hip-hop version with Will Smith as Willy Wonka. So no matter what comes of this movie, we can all rest easier knowing it won't be THAT version.
