Hi!
k, im 16, almost 17, and i...really...really...like cartoon network, nick, and of corce disney. includeing the preschooler shows. you know alot of people would say that is bad an inmature, but when i know a little bit about the things the kids i babbysit like, it really helps them keep under control, ya know?
And the good thing about MC is that even if others think you are imature, here, we all are. So don't worry about it. I, for example, like teddys and toys whch others could concider imature too.

But, here, you can know we all luv ya!

Welcome Amber to the most wonderful, cazy, zany, wacky, weird, full of that meat stuff (just can't spell it) muppety, fraggley and sesame streetiest place I know. Don't worry about what others have to say to you about being imature. I'm 23 and still living w/ my parents (not to say that I'm never getting a apartment) but I will always be one of the Number one fan of the Muppets, Sesame Street and Fraggles as long as I live. (there I said now get off my back LOL)

Hi! I just turned 24. Being a native French speaker living in Montreal, I can't say that I grew up with Sesame Street (I didn't speak or understand English at the time!), but the characters soon won me over, and I loved the books/comics, too. In the late-1980s, I was also a big fan of Fraggle Rock...

Recently I've been going back to Sesame Street, reading about its history; my favourite Muppet has always been Grover, but I love others, too. I approach SS much like I approach mythology, legends, fairy tales, etc. -- as powerful (and often surreal) expressions of imagination, and as works that can appeal to young children and adults alike, with many layers of meaning.

Fantastic site and forums, by the way!

Guten Tag! DON'T READ THIS!

Hallo!

Maybe u'v seen me aorund here ont he fourms... or over at Palisades. I've been around for some time now, but never really noticed this section of the fourm till today.

Essentially, today i was roaming around looking to make friends with people from RI... not that i'm against talking to anyone outside this small state.

So as you can see.. i'm from Rhode Island. Its nice, i love it here. We have all four seasons, which is nice. My fave season is Fall.

I love writing... i write poetry, stories, scripts. I love movies. I want to make a series ov my own, home made, movies at some point. Been trying since i was 15. Before that, i was putting on plays wiht friends lol. One, was a Sesame Street play, where we had brown paper bags over our heads. it was funny.

I'm an actor, so ov course my homemade movies had all director notes and all these details i made into it. I've studied acting at the best school in RI... in fact we went to the BIGGEST theatre festival int he world, which is located in Scotland. The Fringe Festival. SO yea, i def have a good resume with that there lol.

The problem i'm facing is actors. You need people who are committed to their roles, and who have the time. And time is very hard to steal.

Other then that, i love watching movies.. not a be TV person tho. I used to watch Buffy and Angel, but then they got canceled :frown: but i still watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... lol

As you can tell, i'm a big kid. But, i'm sure alot ov us here at MC feel the same. Growing up on muppets and still holding on.

I loved the muppets growing up, but my fave was Sesame Street. I LOVED Fraggle Rock too. Gobo and Cookie monster are my fave muppets ov all time.

so, thats me  if anyone wants.. feel free to im me at SlashSpider on AIM or AOL. The name may sound gothic, or punkish... ignor it lol. I came up with it cuz i'm a comic geek, n thought that would be a cool super hero name for myself. I had a Henna tatoo on me ov a Spider, and it was next to a scar... so thats where it originated... lol can't call myself Spider-Man... that name was taken lol. But yesh... always look'n for new friends

P.S. I put Don't Read cuz i figured there'd be some rebles out there lol

Hi, I am Louise and I am 32 so I seen many of the episodes of the Muppet Show as first run. The Muppets are the ones that got me into Alice Cooper. I remember sitting in front of the tv as a child and watching with excitement many of the episodes. I have a few of the Best of dvds but am looking forward to seeing if the rumor is true about them releasing the series out on dvds. Well, I guess that is all for now.
