Precisely the same thing -> floor and carpet care (stripping, waxing, burnishing, top scrubbing, extracting, etc.)
Stripping!?! What kind of janitorial work do you do!

Lol, jk!

Haha that's really funny you say that Vic, cuz as I typed that word I thought about putting in parenthesis "No, not that kind of stripping!"
By the way, in post number 4 above you were describing yourself, Vic.

Way to go!

I'm happy for you, Ziffel! I know a drive like that can really be a pain, especially in the winter months. (I wonder what these new co-workers will think about "The Chicken or the Egg?" song? LOL!):excited:

Wow, that's great! You could probably even walk to work in nice weather. Then again, janitorial work could constitute manual labor, so maybe you wouldn't want to do that...
Anyway, congradulations!

Thanks Rosewood RedBoobergurl and Fragglemuppet. Yeah Fragglemuppet, I probably will do some walking since it's close but thought about that very thing - after 8 hours of physical labor may not feel like walking home. We'll see how I feel.

Thank you so much, Fish N Wolfe. I started my new job just before Thanksgiving. Been pretty much doing a wide variety of custodial jobs with some floor care (stripping, waxing, top scrubbing, burnishing) here and there. Eventually, floor care will be my main task at the job. As expected, I'm really enjoying being about a mile away from work vs. 38 miles. So nice to get out of work and then be home about five minutes later.
