"Untitled 2005 IFC SPECIAL - Greg and Warren in Vegas"

We are proud to announce that we have just completed shooting on a new, half-hour special for the Independent Film Channel, the same channel where Greg first got his start (before selling out to be a sitcom star). Written, Directed and Produced by the original creators (Sean Baker, Spencer Chinoy and Dan Milano) this new special finds Greg and Warren both desperate for work after having lost the Fox show to poor ratings.

Encouraged by puppet agent Pal Friendlies to star in a new IFC special, Greg and Warren must unite and go to Vegas in order to recruit fellow fallen star, Count Blah. What ensues is thirty minutes of debauchery and irreverence, completely unsuitable for family viewing. Human guest stars include Fox alum Seth Green, Sarah Silverman and Bob Gunton, as well as cameos from Jon Favreau, Adam Goldberg, Clint Howard, Martha Plimpton and Lou Ferigno.

There were some rumors that the special would also feature cameos from "famous puppets". Unfortunately, many of those opportunities fell through due to scheduling and other conflicts. But should we continue producing specials, keep your fingers crossed for appearances by Alf, "Short Circuit's" Johnny Five and others.

The new special is set to air on IFC in the first quarter of 2005, and might also pave the way for a new series or a GTB movie.
I thought whoever liked Greg the Bunny would want to know about this. Its pretty cool. Heres the web page.

I based my decision to buy the Greg the Bunny DVD on the opinions of fellow MC forum members. I am really glad I did because that show is hilarious, blah. I am excited about a new GtB project, but I don't think I'm familiar with the Independent Film Channel. Can anyone tell me what channel that is?

I don't think an official airdate has been announced, but it's supposed to be coming soon.

The appearances of ALF and Johnny Five would be fun  let's hope they'll be able to get them to come on the show.

I HATED greg the bunny on fox, but found the shorts to be great(th eobscure references and obscure spoofs were classic!) This sounds like a great angle, cant wait to see it.
