I just came from www.palisadestoys.com and I just HAD to come here and post. Check out the comparison shots in today's bit.
Ken, I have to hand it to you and the Palisades guys. The re-shaping of Gonzo's head to it's correct shape and fullness, the tucking of his fur behind his eyelids, the raising of his point of focus upward, both in his head and his eyes themselves, the re-shaping of the eyelids and refocusing of the pupils to match the puppet, the re-curving the nose, the change in the nose's thickness, the change in the width of his mouth- all of these changes make him look less like just a decent action figure and more like a replica of the puppet! If only all action figures could be so exact, so accurate, so well-crafted! If only all action figure companies could be so meticulous and get it so right!
Wonderful work, guys! Keep it up! (Sorry I haven't got enough firstborn children to go around !)
