M'kay. This might be ancient news fer some of you, but I found out only about a week ago, sooooo sheah.

Anywho's, YES! New album from The White Duke himself! His last album was released in 03, and since then he had a heart attack (minor, apparently, but still... :frown:) a few years back but now, oh- and I beleive he made a compliation of tracks sometime last year (I /THINK/). But he's recording new stuff in Berlin (where he's recorded 3 of his albums already, including the very popular 'Heroes').

Okay, I don't know allllll the facts just yet, and some of them may be innacurate, I just found out about this, y'know (so don't quote me on anything, 'cause I could be wrong). But all I know is that he's currently recording new stuff, the album is expected to be released sometime this year, and apparently it's gonna sound like his early-80s work, can't wait! :excited:

WHAT? That would have been AMAZING!

Put me on the David Bowie Fan Club list please! Maybe it comes with seeing Labyrinth as a kind, but I can't help but love him! Especially the Ziggy Stardust era (for the music, not the costume *cough*)

Wow I didn't know that! Can't say I blame him though, hehe.

Mrs. Pepper, my first admiration for Bowie probably came from Labyrinth too, lol. Though I loved his segment in the History of Rock and Roll documentary during Ziggy Stardust phase. :sing:

It's weird, because I didn't become aware of david Bowie from watching labyrinth as a kid, it was actually coming across my mum's albums of him when I was younger (but I prolly became more aware of Bowie when I was about... meh, eleven?). Oh- and it's FANTASTIC that there are are fans who love his work here, too! Peppy, his Ziggy Stardust era was Bowie at his best, IMHO. Lol, I love the music AND the outfit! :flirt:
