Looks like they found the footage of "When Love is Gone" and are adding it back to the movie. In the audio clip, it also sounds like they've done a 4K scan of The Muppet Movie.

Woo-hoo!! This is FANTASTIC news. I've always loved the song, and I was bummed that I could never see it in widescreen form. But that day is finally coming!

It sounds like Brian isn't sure when the 4K transfer will be complete, so we might not get it until next Christmas, but he did specifically cite Disney+ as an outlet for it. As a happy subscriber of the service, that's just what I wanted to hear!

I'm fairly certain it's on the DVD if you select the full screen/4:3 version of the movie, since it was included on the VHS release.

I mean, if you really wanted to go the extra mile, you could probably just edit that **** in premiere or final cut.
