Nah... that Street Sharks costume (I can't find a picture, sorry!) I saw years ago that was basically a sewn up bed sheet with the character printed on it completely killed any expectation of a commercial costume. Once you see a kid in a floppy bed sheet with a character printed on it, you know what to expect.

Lemme ask this question... is there any GOOD commercially available costume? I see much better fan costumes and cosplays than anything you can buy in a store.

Well, the Mario ones are good, though... but you can make one yourself easy enough.
