I've never built a puppet before, and I was looking around for an easy and cheap place to start. I found the Consumer Monster instructions, and was thinking of starting with that, only changing it a bit, so it wouldn't actually be the Consumer Monster. Is that a good place to start, or is there something simpler?

Thanks.

I think that's a great place to start ! also try learning from this pattern
it's really cheap and you will learn a ton about sewing , working with foam and how to make a mouth plate
hope that helps

Thanks.
I also bought the Foam Book, though I haven't read through it yet. Thanks for the tip. I'll look in to that pattern.
