I'm working on a bird puppet in the shape of Little Bird, but I'm having difficulty constructing the beak and the body. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I made a Bird sock puppet with a triangular mouth. It would not be that difficult to add an egg-shaped body to complete. Remember that simple works best. Don't try to get too complex

Sounds good. How can I make a head and attach it to the body?

I would probably make a body from foam and then cover it. There is a great material they use for socks that I found at Wal Mart which looks like feathers. The rest would depend on your build. But if you run the neck through the body without sewing the two together you will get a better performance from your puppet.
